Documentary
Imagine if I spent a day in your home, capturing the unfiltered essence of your life. No posing, no prompting, and certainly no need for coordinated outfits. Just uncurated, undirected, beautifully messy, and authentic moments frozen in time.
Cooking, cleaning, shopping, eating, laughing, crying, playing, singing. Life, as it is happening.
THE WHY…
From a young age, I was captivated by the concept of freezing moments in time forever and how an image captured at just the right moment and composition could tell a story that was louder than words. I vividly recall spending hours as a child immersed in TIME magazines, staring at all the captivating images.
This early fascination with photography ignited a profound passion for me – a passion for documenting moments and capturing authentic emotions. In the words of David Alan Harvey, "Don’t shoot what it looks like, shoot what it feels like." This quote perfectly encapsulates my approach to photography, emphasizing the importance of capturing the essence and emotions that make each moment unique.
